About Organization:

The UDiON Foundation, Inc. is an emerging non-profit global organization that seeks to improve the life and well-being of adults and children. By envisioning a world in which community challenges are addressed, not by individual leaders, but by collective leadership – groups of local residents can work together for sustainable change. To date, The UDiON Foundation has founded programs that help keep kids in school, teach job skills, and provide assistance those less fortunate.

UDiON has been working to:

End the cycle of poverty and the exploitation of children
Empower individuals with the necessary skills to succeed in a modern world
Assist others by helping them achieve their desired goals without destroying the common interest of the environment

The UDiON Foundation’s Beyond Non-Profit – International Experience & Field Study program is designed to provide hands-on international experience, build leadership skills and create a guide for the next generation of graduates interested in helping others.

Travel dates: March 13, 2015 to March 22^nd, 2015

Approximate Cost: $1,850 ($1600 airline, $250 Visa), additional money for personal spending, Fund raising opportunities available, must inquire. UDiON Foundation will pay for all logistics (Food, Transportation, and Lodging)

Preliminary Travel Itinerary (subject to change):

Depart: Florida, New York, Dubai, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Return: Dhaka, Bangladesh, Dubai, New York, Florida
Day 1 Travel to Dubai
Day 2 Dubai
Days 3-8 Bangladesh/India
Day 9 Travel back to US

Bangladesh:
- Be part of Grand opening of new Technology Center for Indigenous People in Sylhet
- Be part of Grand opening of new Sewing Center for Indigenous People in Sylhet
- Be part of first safe and clean water project for Deprived and Impoverished people
- Visit 7 wonder of the World Nominee “The Sundarbans” in 2011 also among the largest rainforest in the world,
- Visit World Longest Sea Beach “The Coxes Bazar” also the nominee of the 7 Wonders of Beauty in 2009
- Visit world biggest dem “Kaptai Bad” and largest Electricity manufacture in the country
- Visit largest and longest book festival in SE Asia (also be part of book signing)
- Meeting with Political leaders, Corporate Executives and Ambassador of the United States of America
- Visit Universities, Colleges and Schools to understand and to learn how Education System works in Bangladesh
- Meeting with Novel Laureate and Founder of Micro Finance Professor Muhammad Yunus
- Meeting with other non-profit organizations and leaders
Dubai:
- Visit world most famous tourism in recent years also the host of EXPO2020 (expo2020dubai.ae)
- Visit World Largest Gold Market
- Visit World Largest Indoor Ice Sky
- Visit World tallest tower & only Armani Hotel
- Visit Palm Island
- Visit The Atlantis
India:
- Visit History of Kolkata
- The Agra (Taj Mahal) The 7 wonder of the World (ticket is not included)

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be over 18 years of age
Must have Passport (US or International) with minimum of 6 months validity
Must have Visa for Bangladesh and India (Dubai is on Arrival), UDiON will facilitate the
Passionate and willingness to give your all
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
