Shahed Alam is an entrepreneur and a journalist with more than 9 years of experience in television journalism, from BBC NEWS and BBC Bengali Service. For Alam works he received wide range of awards and recognition. Some of the awards are UNESCO Bangladesh Journalism Award’ 2013 and ‘Disaster Management Bureau Media Award -2008’ for Investigative TV journalism. He participated on ‘US Foreign Policy’ training at USA by the State Department, ‘Medical Tourism’ in Singapore.
Mr. Alam was trained by BBC World Service Trust on ‘Media Capacity Building ‘at 2009. He is the Editor of SHOBUJPATA (www.shobujpata.com), the first ever environmental news portal in Bangladesh.
